About the course
This instructor-led course prepares you for the SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) exam from Scaled Agile, who rate it as an advanced-level course. It works through the three areas of Lean Portfolio Management in the Scaled Agile Framework: strategy and investment funding, Agile portfolio operations and Lean governance.
You learn to describe where a portfolio stands today and where it should go with the portfolio canvas, to fund value streams with Lean budgets and guardrails, and to manage epics through the portfolio Kanban. The course also covers coordination across value streams, Agile PMOs and communities of practice, portfolio metrics, and how to plan the adoption of LPM in your own organisation. After passing the exam you receive the SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager certification, renewed yearly, and a digital badge.

Prerequisites
