About the course
The 5-day instructor-led course gives participants the knowledge and skills to act as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and to help an organisation meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
It covers the concepts and principles of the GDPR, the designation of the DPO, the analysis of a GDPR compliance programme, the day-to-day operations of the DPO, and the monitoring and continual improvement of compliance. The course ends with the certification exam.

Concepts of the GDPR
Explain the concepts of the GDPR and interpret its requirements.
GDPR and other frameworks
Explain how the GDPR relates to ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST frameworks.
The role of the DPO
Carry out the role and the daily tasks of a Data Protection Officer.
Advising and monitoring
Inform and advise an organisation, monitor its compliance and cooperate with the supervisory authority.
